Welcome to Northern Bowl 2024.

A gathering devoted to the sharing and teaching of the making of wooden treen.

Friday April 26th to Sunday 28th.

The gathering is a small and intimate affair based just outside of the city of Durham on an organic smallholding.

Tickets are limited to sixty which gives a lively feeling to a friendly teaching space.

It all starts with a comprehensive set of courses run by some of the best tutors in the turning and carving world.

The weekend then changes to a more skills sharing focus with some informal sessions being run alongside shorter paid workshops.

Nights are spent around a fire, sharing music, laughter, chat and song. Saturday night is Ceilidh night.

Keeping the skills alive and kicking is at the heart of it all.
