Beth Silverbirch

I feel enormously privileged to be a co-founder and director of Abundant Earth for the last 20 years. Together, with this land, we have created an abundance of opportunities for people to connect with themselves, each other and learn new skills. Since 2015 I have been training as a Nonviolent Communication Trainer.

Wilf Richards

I have been learning about permaculture ever since stumbling across it in a squat in London in the early 90s. Since then, it has completely shaped my ethics. We have been growing veg, fruit and salads using organic methods for the local community for over 20 years. I pack the veg and manage communications along with my Permaculture work.

Jo Bolton

As a child I was often thrilled by countryside adventures with my family, fascinated by rock formations, river valleys, coastlines and wildness. My studies in landscape architecture and Utopian communities informed my life to come. As a member of this community and workers co op I am a mother, a basketmaker and a yoga teacher.

Matt Whittaker

I have been working with wood and steel for over twenty years now. What first attracted me to these materials and the crafts of the Greenwood and Forge was their immediacy, the need for a very few tools in order to be able to create practical, everyday objects. Alongside this work I operate a mobile sawmill and build timber frames.

Lauren Anderson

I have been part of the Abundant Earth workers co-op since 2019 and I run the vegetable garden here. In 2021, I expanded into growing & foraging herbal/medicinal plants and turning those into remedies - look out for these at our craft fayres and the opportunity to take part in workshops throughout the year.
