Public Transport.

By Train and Bus.

We are less than two miles away from the train station. After arriving at the station it is possible to walk down the hill and to the bus stands over the road.

The bus you need to catch is the no.43 to Esh Winning which is it’s final stop. You will need to by a ticket to The Loves pub in Broom Park.

When you get off of the bus then head back the way you came and go past the terraced houses, past the entrance to the Cookes wood estate and the take a right down a farm lane, past the horse stables, continue down to an old railway bridge. After crossing the bridge turn right and enter the Veg garden of Abundant Earth. Continue through the gates and you have arrived.

By car.

Make your way to Durham city. Head towards Nevilles Cross on the A167. Go down to the Stonebridge roundabout and then take the 2nd exit towards Broompark, up the hill and over the raiway bridge, from there past the Picnic area on the left and into Broompark village. Two houses immediately appear on your left, you will need to take the 1st left down the length of a large privet hedge. If you end up in the Cookes wood housing estate you have gone one turning too far.

Keep down the lane, go past the horse stables, continue down to an old railway bridge. After crossing the bridge turn right and enter the Veg garden of Abundant Earth. Continue through the gates and you have arrived.
